Welcome Nicollette to the Personal Pilates Plus Instructor Team!
We’re excited to introduce Nicollette, the newest instructor at Personal Pilates Plus! Nicollette brings a thoughtful, intentional approach to movement and a passion for helping clients build strength, stability, and body awareness through Pilates.
Nicollette discovered Pilates during graduate school while completing her PhD in Environmental Engineering. Like many people balancing demanding schedules and high levels of stress, she initially turned to Pilates as a way to reconnect with her body and regulate stress during periods of burnout. What started as a personal practice quickly grew into a deeper passion for mindful movement and helping others feel stronger and more connected in their bodies.
In early 2026, Nicollette completed her 100-hour Mat Pilates Teacher Training in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica, and she continues to expand her training across the Pilates apparatus. Her teaching style focuses on breath, alignment, and mind-body connection, while thoughtfully guiding clients to explore new levels of strength, stability, and control.
As someone with a naturally hypermobile body, Nicollette understands the importance of developing intelligent strength and joint stability. Her background as an avid climber, volleyball player, and former amateur boxer gives her a unique perspective on movement and performance. Pilates remains her favorite modality for building the deep stability and balanced strength that supports long-term health and injury prevention.
Nicollette’s classes begin with breath and intentional connection, creating a strong foundation before moving into progressive sequences that challenge and support each client’s abilities. Clients can expect classes that feel grounding, empowering, and thoughtfully challenging.
